AARON BURGIN, FULL-TIME HOOPS, COTC CO-FOUNDER
Aaron Burgin is the founder of Full-Time Hoops, San Diego's premier NCAA-certified scouting service.
In its third year, FTH has become the go-to sources of basketball recruiting and scouting information for coaches and basketball followers in San Diego County.
Burgin, a print journalist by trade, graduated from the Annenberg School for Communication University of Southern California in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in print journalism. He has reported on high-school sports since the late 1990s, beginning with the Los Angeles Daily News while he was still in high school and including the Whittier Daily News, Porterville Recorder, Riverside Press-Enterprise and San Diego Union-Tribune, where he served as a frequent high-school basketball contributor for "U-T TV."
Born in Detroit and raised in Los Angeles, Burgin played high-school basketball for Birmingham High School, where he lettered for two seasons after transferring from Palisades High. He also played high school volleyball, and was an All-League performer.
